In 2009, Toby Gutteridge was paralysed from the neck down after being shot while on duty with the Special Boat Service in Afghanistan. He recently released a book—‘Never Will I Die’—that recounts a difficult childhood in South Africa, his trajectory into the Special Forces and Special Boat Service and, of course, his miraculous survival and the subsequent fallout of such a profoundly life-changing incident. His remarkable story is a reminder of the determination of the human spirit, and your own true potential. Listen on Spotify, Apple and Google.
Come listen to our Q&A with Toby Gutteridge at our next Leader’s Lunch on Friday, 17 March at the Marsham Court Hotel in Bournemouth. Click here to buy your tickets.
